			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There&#8217;s some new research from Australia that reveals how to burn fat faster, and as a personal trainer, one of the most frequent questions I get asked is how to burn fat - so I thought it would be a good topic to discuss here.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re no doubt aware that there&#8217;s lots of &#8220;fat burning foods&#8221; that can potentially help with fat burning, but they&#8217;re not really going to help you burn fat fast. Don&#8217;t get me wrong - they are foods that should definitely be part of your healthy diet, but if you really want to learn how to burn fat fast, this will be worth your time.</p>
<p>Ideally, to burn fat fast you need to be exercising on a regular basis - like 3 or 4 times a week. If you&#8217;re doing any fat burning exercises (typically aerobic exercises), you&#8217;re going to get benefit from them through increased metabolism.</p>
<p>To lose weight, you typically have to burn off more energy than you take in - so if you burn up 3000 calories a day, so long as you consume less than 3000 calories a day you will lose some weight. Ideally the calories you consume should be from high protein, low fat foods, so that you&#8217;re body can concentrate on burning the excess fat to make up the extra calories it needs.</p>
<p>So, getting back to exercise as a method of how to burn fat, let&#8217;s take the treadmill as an example. The best way to burn fat in this way is to perform the exercise at a gradual pace for at least 20 - 30 minutes. When you exercise at a slow or gradual rate, your body burns more fat for energy. If you exercise at a faster rate, you&#8217;re body uses it&#8217;s stored levels of glucose and carbohydrates for energy. So pacing yourself and exercising for longer periods will help burn the fat for energy - and as your body is using up less glucose, you will have the energy and stamina to exercise for longer periods.</p>
<p>So my tip on how to burn fat fast is to perform some kind of aerobic exercise (like the treadmill or exercise bike) 3 or 4 times a week, for at least 20 minutes per session. Make sure you eat plenty of protein, simple carbs (like vegetables) and keep your intake of saturated and animal based fats low.</p>

<p>In one study of 59 college-age students at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, researchers found that women taking 200 micrograms of chromium picolinate a day gained almost twice as much lean body mass as those who did not take the supplements, an effect that could result in long-term reductions in body fat, since lean body mass burns more calories than fat.</p>

And although chromium will benefit only those who are deficient, Dr. Anderson reports that most people in Westernized countries receive only 25 percent of the Daily Value of 120 micrograms. So most people are deficient in chromium.</p>
<p>Chromium also improves the effectiveness of insulin, the hormone that allows cells to pick up glucose (a simple sugar that your body uses for fuel) from the bloodstream. For this reason, chromium may also be helpful in preventing diabetes, which is common in people who are overweight. In this situation what is the best weight loss pill is less relevant, as people with diabetes who take chromium should be under medical supervision, since their insulin dosage may need to be reduced as their blood sugar levels drop.</p>

<p>Beating the Bloat With Water To Lose Weight</p>
<p>Forget that &#8220;ashes to ashes, dust to dust&#8221; stuff. Water to water is more like it. Our aquatic ancestors brought the sea with them when they crawled on land, and human beings remain mostly fluid. We&#8217;re 56 percent fluid, to be exact - but sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on the degree of bloat.</p>
<p>A lot of my clients ask me can water help to loss weight. The short answer is yes. The longer answer involves understanding how water interacts with our bodies. So here comes the science bit:</p>
<p>People who retain fluid know just how easy it is to swell up like a sponge. &#8220;Weight fluctuations of as much as four to five pounds in a single day are not uncommon in women with fluid retention problems, but drinking water can help to loss weight and overcome water retention&#8221; says Marilynn Pratt, M.D., a physician in private practice in Playa del Rey, California, who specializes in women&#8217;s health.</p>
<p>Bloating occurs when fluid that normally flows through the body in blood vessels, lymph ducts and tissues gets trapped in tissues in the interstitial spaces, the tiny channels between cells. The fluid flows through the membranes of tiny blood capillaries into the tissue cells because of osmotic pressure (cell wall pressure), which is controlled by electrolytes such as sodium.</p>
<p>A high sodium level attracts more fluid from the blood into the cells, where the fluid gets trapped and the cells become overhydrated. This occurs more readily in women, because their tissues are designed to fluctuate or expand for pregnancy. To combat it you need to reduce salt intake and drink more water to help loss weight caused by water retention.</p>
<p>Lots of things can cause waterlogged tissues: allergic reactions to foods, heart and kidney problems and prescription drugs such as hormones. In women, hormonal changes often cause bloating beginning seven to ten days prior to menstruation, as higher levels of estrogen and progesterone during that part of the cycle cause the body to retain salt (sodium) and therefore to retain fluid in tissues- &#8220;Replacement hormones (especially estrogen alone) can also cause substantial bloating and weight gain. Drinking more water will help loss weight in this case as it helps flush the sodium from the body&#8221; says Dr. Pratt.</p>
<p>Usually, fluid retention is uncomfortable but not health-threatening. People who retain fluid because of heart or kidney problems, however, or who are taking diuretics (water pills) need to be under a doctor&#8217;s care for their problems, says Dr. Pratt.</p>
<p>Nutritional changes for fluid retention are meant to counteract hormonal changes, balance the minerals that influence body fluid and eliminate foods that trigger bloating in some people.</p>

The fats are subdivided into saturated and unsaturated fats  . Saturated  fats need more burning exercise - a fact is that to burn up 7kg of fat you need to run for 1500kms pretty more isn&#8217;t it . But people often make mistakes they use catalysts to speed up their weight loss reactions such as fat burning pills ultimately end up with either a stone formation in the kidney or liver failure. To reduce your weight you need time for your body to react . Coming to the dieting part include fiber rich foods such as oats and apple , orange , greens and try avoiding having food outside and avoid consuming oily foods as they are prone to your fat content in your body . The dieting plan changes according to the body mass index  you have . So i suggest you to consult a physician before going on for your own diet and workout plan . <p>Hi there, my name&#8217;s John.  I wanted to tell you about a new weight loss program, and how it worked for me.  I&#8217;ve never been quite happy with my weight, but for years I just accepted being moderately overweight because that was who I was.  I tried a few diets, but never really stuck to anything for more than a few of weeks.</p>
<p>A couple of months or so ago, I decided to try to find the best way to lose weight.  I&#8217;d been on diets before, but nothing seemed to work.  Finally a friend recommended some easy weight loss tips.  He looked in pretty good shape, so I decided to give it a go.  He said the fastest way to lose weight was to combine green tea weight loss, and walking to lose weight.</p>
<p>I didn&#8217;t believe him at first, but he encouraged me to try it for a while.  I decided to go for it.  The important bit, he said, was not to try and lose weight, but to focus on getting fit.</p>
<p>I tried this for about 3 weeks, and noticed a change.  Living in a city helped; as most of the things that I would need to go to are within walking distance.  For example I walked to work instead of taking the subway. At the end of 3 weeks, having not checked my weight in all that time, I found that I&#8217;d lost 15 lbs.  Not terribly quick weight loss, but pretty good!  I doubt I could have achieved this just by walking, as I think the green tea supplements helped quite a lot.  The important thing, though, is that I didn&#8217;t really care how much weight I&#8217;d lost &#8212; I was feeling fitter that I was before, and a lot less stressed and restless.</p>

<p>I have seen women get really depressed and really distraught over the weight that they gain during there pregnancy. With all the things that a women has to deal with like the post pardon depression, having a new life to worry and care for the list goes on and on. I do think that the last thing should be that is she sexy enough; it really would be great to be able to just lose that baby fat fast. I have seen in my own personal experience that running and using lightweights can be effective. You need a balance though if you are not on the correct diet you will probable not see results as fast as you would like. Eating healthier and running for just a few miles a day can really be a quick way to lose that weight fast at least that’s what my wife did. <p>Who des not want o be slim and slender all the time.  But we cannot allow this to become an obsession with us we have other things to concentrate on in our lives other than how many grams we added or lost.  Sometimes, we would have been concentrating on other preoccupations that we would have failed to look at ourselves, and we would be mechanically eating anything that came our way while working on serious issues, like studying or business or even a new assignment.  Suddenly one day, we are horrified to look at ourselves in he mirror and they way we have neglected our looks and figure.   Then starts the rigorous program of weight loss, like crash dieting course and all things bizarre, which again prove detrimental to our health and we might end up looking worse than what we were.</p>
<p>Losing weight by crash dieting is a figment of one’s imagination.  You are punishing your system unnecessarily by not eating or eating very less.  Your body which was not used to this kind of switch-off mode, is taken unawares, and starts clinging to the fat that is stored in thinking that it will have to start saving for worse periods!  The result is since you have not burnt any fat.  Unless you burn fat, there will be no improvement in your appearance; rather you will start looking flabby because you would have lost vital muscles in the process.  Do not blame your genes here, because genes have no role to play in adding to your fat.</p>
<p>Simple measures would be to take plenty of water and have water before every meal to give you that filled feeling before eating.  Eat everything but in reduced quantities.  Do not push away anything on the table but eat a little of everything.  This way, you will end up being happy and eating less too.  Feast on good things but again eat very less.  Go for long walks to burn your excess fat and do not skip this routine.  Follow all these tips and see the results for yourself.  Remember to consult an expert always, if in doubt.</p>

<p>If you read the paper, watch TV, or peruse magazines while you wait for your appointment; it seems that there will always be at least one article on a diet craze.  True you can lose weight if someone decides how large your meals should be, what you should eat exactly, like the Atkins diet, but once you lose weight how long will it stay off?</p>
<p>Losing weight is not about getting skinny, only.   Maintaining a healthy body weight is a lifestyle choice.  Eat less than your body needs and you will lose weight.  Maybe though, if you add a bit of exercise into your daily regime, and watch what you are putting in your mouth in the first place, you wouldn’t have to try to “get skinny” on some strange diet that is abnormal for a healthy lifestyle and could actually, possibly jeopardize your overall health.</p>
<p>I was reading this article and she suggested that eating healthy foods would be a good idea.  I second that notion, and add that the closer the food is to the garden the better off you might be.  Like potato chips, while you are watching TV; how hard would it be to nuke a potato as a snack instead if you are hungry?  Maybe instead of eating all that prepared food that is just packed with chemicals and calories you try doing a bit of cooking.</p>
<p>Since we are on the idea of lifestyle changes, and it is almost spring; maybe the best way to lose weight is to add some activity into your day.  Sitting in front of the computer or television might be a great way to relax, but a good 20 minute walk every day will get your metabolism moving, and you’ll sleep better at night.  The best part of a little bit of exercise is you just might look and feel better too.</p>

It’s in our nature to accomplish the goal we need to accomplish using the easiest method possible.  As such when it comes to wait loss people tend to look up ‘how to lose weight fast’ as opposed to ‘how can I sustainably lose weight and develop healthy habits for life’.  This is an unfortunate thing though as it means many of us who struggle with weight will go through many fits and starts and have many failed attempts at weight loss. <p>Any type of cardio or aerobic exercise is good for helping to burn off excess weight - things like brisk walking, jogging and of course aerobic exercise classes.</p>
<p>You may find it helpful to work out an activity plan for your weight loss exercise program, especially if you haven&#8217;t been active for some time. The more detailed your plan, the more likely you are to succeed. You may be trying to make long-term changes in your approach to physical activity so it makes sense to look at the big picture right from the start.</p>
<p>Overall fitness is a combination of three factors: stamina, flexibility, and strength. If your aim is to improve your fitness, you need to do regular activity that makes your heart and lungs work harder (to build stamina), improves mobility in your joints (to increase flexibility) and develops your muscle strength.</p>
<p>If you want to lose weight, you may find that gentle activity, combined with changes in your food intake, is enough to achieve this. If not, however, you will need to burn more calories in order to lose weight. You could do this by increasing the intensity of the weight loss excercises you do, by doing it more often or for longer periods, or by choosing an activity that by its nature burns more calories.</p>
<p>Decide on your goal and then choose an activity that will help you to achieve it. Consider the following to help you determine what you hope to achieve from being more active and how to go about it.</p>

<p>WHAT? Think about the type of activity you want to do. If you enjoy it, you&#8217;re more likely to find the time to do it.</p>
<p>WHEN? Be realistic about how often you will be able to pursue an activity. Will an activity be part of your normal day (for example walking to the shops), or will you need to find extra time to do it? If you need to find more time, think about when it will be and how you can fit it around your other commitments.</p>

<p>If you carry extra fat around your abdomen rather than around your hips, you have an increased risk of developing heart and circulatory problems. Even if you are overweight, your risk of heart disease is reduced if you have less fat around your abdomen than around your hips. Use the following calculations to assess how your body fat is distributed:</p>
<p>Waist Size Measure your waist at the widest point. If your waist is more than 102cm (40in) for a man or 88cm (34in) for a woman, you are carrying too much weight</p>
<p>Waist-To-Hip Ratio Measure your waist and your hips at the widest points and divide your waist size by your hip size. For example, if your waist measures 82cm (33in) and your hips 103cm (41in), your waist-to-hip ratio is 0.80 (33 divided by 41). If the result is higher than 0.9 for a man or more than 0.85 for a woman you have a higher risk of developing heart disease.</p>
<p>Is my weight OK?</p>
<p>To assess whether you are overweight you need to measure your body mass index (BMI), which is a ratio of your weight to your height. To work out your BMI, you can either use a BMI chart or calculate it on paper by dividing your weight in kilograms by the square of your height in meters. For example, if you weigh 70kg and your height is 1.67 meters, your BMI is 70 / 2.79 (1.67 x 1.67) - 25. If you have a BMI of 25 or more, you are overweight. If you have a BMI of 30 or above you are considered to be obese and should read up on obesity facts on how to overcome it. The effects of obesity carries and even greater risk to your health.</p>

When reviewing your food diary ask yourself the following questions:</p>

<li>Do I eat high-fat or high-sugar foods at particular times of the day?</li>
<li>Do I tend to sample food while I&#8217;m cooking?</li>
<li>Do I dine out often and so have less control over what I eat?</li>
</ul>
<p>If you answered &#8220;yes&#8221; to any of the above questions, you could make changes straight away to help you lose weight. To keep you motivated on your weight-loss plan, set yourself small targets that you know you can achieve. Aiming to lose 1kg (21bs) by next week for example, is far easier to work towards than a goal of losing 20kg (over 3 stone) by next year.</p>
<p>Those 1kg (2,2lbs) weeks will soon add up. Even if you only lose half a kilogram (one pound) in a week but are still following your food plan, your weight will continue to fall. So learn how to lose weight the healthy way - a healthy diet, watch what you eat, and get plenty of exercise.</p>

<p>There&#8217;s lots of low carb diet tips you can use on your diet, but here&#8217;s some of my favorite ones. It&#8217;s all about what to eat to lose weight and make it fun and enjoyable at the same time. On a healthy weight loss program you&#8217;ll be eating a lot of truly fresh food in. the form of seasonal produce, supplemented by a few frozen products. In the refrigerator at all times should be: celery, scallions (better carb bargains than storage onions), bell peppers, cabbage, cucumbers, citrus fruit (oranges, lemons, limes, but mainly for the zest - which you can peel and freeze).</p>
<p>Herbs are wonderful for low carb diets which include lots of vegetables and salads; you can even make a whole salad out of mixed herbs if you have a garden. Sometimes when you&#8217;re eating a lot of protein you crave something light and refreshing, and a lot of mint, parsley, and chives can do wonders to take a dish in that direction.</p>
<p>In the Refrigerator</p>
<p>Mayonnaise: Hellmann&#8217;s or Best Foods - no point in using light. You can have an instant sauce, a marinade, a crunchy coating for chicken in seconds with this excellent product.</p>
<p>Sour Cream: A spoonful or two makes a big difference for very few carbs, and sour cream seems to have an inordinately long shelf life. Don&#8217;t overheat sour cream or it will curdle.</p>
<p>Cheese: Good cheeses for snacking are the relatively low-fat ones such as string cheese, mozzarella, and Muenster. Parmesan, Cheddar, feta, and blue cheese are always useful. For treats, brie and cambozola and chevre.</p>
<p>Cream Cheese: Exiled from the low-fat kitchen, cream cheese is back and welcome - all ready to be whipped into a cheesecake or spread on crackers with some interesting seasonings for a quick appetizer or snack. Whipped cream cheese is ready to spread, of course.</p>
<p>Cottage Cheese: You want 2 percent or 4 percent-fat cottage cheese, which has fewer carbs. This can be breakfast or served on sliced tomatoes with lots of black pepper as lunch or a snack.</p>
<p>Cream: It&#8217;s up to you how much fat you want to use, but cream is luxurious and very useful. You&#8217;ll quickly notice that half-and-half has many fewer carbs than the 1 percent or 2 percent milk you may be used to with your coffee.</p>
<p>Nuts: Forbidden though they are in most diets, nuts are welcomed in the low-carb world. You can&#8217;t eat endless amounts of them, but you can have a few every day, and they&#8217;re a reliable treat. They&#8217;re also very good for you, full of essential nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, folacin, vitamin E, some of the Bs, and antioxidants. It may be because they have long roots reaching deep into the earth that they have such a mother lode of nutrients in their tiny packages.</p>
<p>Macadamia nuts are a very tasty addition to a low carb diet - they&#8217;re the lowest in carbs and high in me good fat. POA, palmitoleic acid, which some studies show helps the body metabolize fats and balance HDL and LDL cholesterol; it also helps break down me harmful fats surrounding the liver and heart. Peanuts are, of course, in the bean family, not the nut clan, but they act like nuts and they have a very similar profile.</p>

If you haven&#8217;t done so already, your first mission is to go through your cupboards, your refrigerator, and freezer and remove the following, many of which are staples of the low-fat diet world: rice cakes, popcorn, flour, grains, pasta, crackers, pretzels, powdered sugar, syrup, raisins, flavored yogurt, jams and jellies, and chocolate. Virtually anything labeled low-fat goes. There&#8217;s lots of recipe ideas using <strong>low carbohydrate foods</strong> in the recipes section of the site.</p>
<p>Keep sugar around for your friends, and for your own use in minute amounts. Flour and cornmeal get used from time to time, but in very small measurements. A handful of rice or beans can be good in soups.</p>
<p>Crossovers from me old diet world - and there are precious few - are cottage cheese, celery, some other vegetables (but not carrots), and some fruits (but not bananas).</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll be eating lots of grilled foods, salads, hearty soups and stews, stir-fries, vegetables, and - for special treats - fried foods and desserts. These low carbohydrate foods will be fresh, real food, uncomplicated and served with sauces, dressings, and marinades, which makes it important to keep a number of seasonings and condiments on hand too.</p>

<p>There are some very good sensible and healthy ways to go about designing a diet that will allow you to safely lose weight. Once you have decided to lose the excess body fat you are carrying around your first stop should be in your doctor&#8217;s office. Your doctor and staff can give you many healthy ways to jump start your weight loss safely including how much weight you need to lose, how to lose weight without causing stress on any medical conditions you may have, and also lead you to resources such as weight loss support groups in your neighborhood.</p>
<p>The next step is to make a list of the resources your doctor gave you and add any resources you locate online, in books or in magazines. Your doctor probably told you to keep a food diary for two months so that you can see what your eating pattern is like including what foods you eat, when you eat, and how you feel before and after you eat. All of this information is individualized information that can help your doctor to steer you in the right direction about why your body is gaining weight. There are some medical reasons for gaining weight, as well as lifestyle reasons such as social eating, or emotional eating.</p>
<p>Your doctor or nutritionist will most likely inform you of the many benefits of drinking water regarding your weight loss goals. <p>Make sure that you have other components in your weight loss plan besides the diet. A diet alone will not enable you to be success at losing weight. You also need to receive adequate amounts of sleep each night, drink 8 to 10 glasses of water each day. This is water, not water containing beverages. It is also important to exercise everyday for at least 20 to 30 minutes of active physical activity.</p>

<p>We all want to be healthier and livelonger lives; after all who wants to be sick or spend our last years unable to enjoy life? Having a fit and healthy life is all about balance. Balancing out activities with proper rest and nutrition and we can live the healthier and fit lives that we desire. Add to that formula that we should receive proper amounts of sleep each and every night and you have a winning balance of all the elements that a body needs to live longer, be at the proper weight and have a healthier life.</p>
<p>Did you know that you apply this principal of balancing all your body&#8217;s needs you can be fit and healthy even when you are considered to be &#8220;elderly&#8221;? Most of us have the misconception that the elderly naturally are ill, have decreased mobility and are unproductive. Those notions simply are not true in a world where medical and healthcare knowledge has expanded regarding what our bodies truly need to be healthy. When we are healthier our weight is better proportionately to our height, we can avoid certain diseases and even lessen the chance for injuries that can sideline us and prevent us from living life to the fullest. When a person lives a life of regular exercise not only will their weight be managed properly but also they will have the muscular strength and agility to stay active later in life.</p>

We all must learn how to handle the stressful situations in order to be able to be healthy mentally and emotionally. Stress can also have an impact on our physical body. Long-term stress has been studied along with the connection between stress and diseases. Stress can lead to obesity, heart attack, stroke, asthma, gastric disorders, menstrual dysfunction, ulcerative colitis, chest pain (angina), irritable colon, high blood pressure, and ulcers, even headaches. You can experience mental stress or emotional stress. You body can even experience physical stress. Studies show that emotional stress takes a greater toll on the body than the other types of stress.</p>
<p>A lifestyle that allows your body to experience a balance between sleep, eating, water, and activity is one that promotes a health long life.</p>
